Curtain Cleaning

Curtain Cleaning on the Gold Coast

Professional care for sheers, lined, blockout and rubber-backed curtains — domestic and commercial. Standard dedicated machine wash or dry clean, depending on fabric.

What we clean

Our standard curtain cleaning service handles every common drapery type found in Gold Coast homes, hotels and offices.

Sheers and voile

Delicate, fine-weave curtains that need a gentle wash and a careful finish.

Lined and interlined

Heavier drapery with added backing for insulation or structure.

Blockout

Thermal-backed curtains for bedrooms, home theatres and holiday rentals.

Rubber-backed

Older rubber-backed curtains are handled with extra care. If we see signs of age-related risk during inspection, we'll let you know before starting.

Our process

Curtains are washed or dry-cleaned in a dedicated machine — never mixed with other customers' garments — so there's no risk of colour transfer or damage from other items.

  1. 1
    Inspection
We check fabric, age, backing condition and any existing stains. You'll hear from us if we see anything that affects the result.
  2. 2
    Dedicated wash or dry clean
Wet wash for most fabrics; dry clean for delicates or materials where water risks shrinkage, bleeding or shape change.
  3. 3
    Finish and hang
Hung flat and air-dried. No tumble drying — that's what damages backing and causes shrinkage.

Take-down, rehang and onsite inspection

These are offered as separately-priced services, not included in the standard curtain cleaning fee.

If you'd like us to take curtains down from the track, rehang after cleaning, or visit to quote before you commit — just ask. We'll give you a quote based on height, access and number of drops.

Call 07 5539 9963 to arrange an onsite inspection.

Domestic and commercial

We clean curtains for households across the Gold Coast, and regularly service hotels, holiday rentals and commercial clients. Commercial volume welcome — talk to our business team about ongoing arrangements.

Frequently asked

Should I wash or dry clean my curtains?

It depends on the fabric. Most modern curtains wet-wash well on a gentle cycle; delicates, hand-painted detail or fabrics likely to shrink are better dry cleaned. We decide on inspection and tell you before we start.

My curtains are old and the rubber backing is cracking — can you still clean them?

We do handle aged rubber-backed curtains, but with caveats. The rubber breaks down with age, damp storage and sunlight, and can crack or flake in the wash. This is a known industry risk, not a fault of the process, and we can't guarantee the result. We'll contact you before proceeding so you can decide whether to continue or cancel at no charge.

Do you do onsite cleaning?

Not as a standard service. We take curtains down to our facility for a proper dedicated wash or dry clean. We do offer onsite inspection and take-down / rehang as separate services on request.

How long does curtain cleaning take?

Depending on fabric and volume, typical turnaround is 3–5 business days. Ask for a timeline estimate when you book.

How much does curtain cleaning cost?

Pricing depends on fabric, size, and number of drops. Call us for a quote or visit any store — we'll give you a firm price before any work starts.
